CrossLite Privacy Policy
Effective date: 14 June 2026 · Contact: hello@tidalkit.com
CrossLite is a Chrome extension that helps you copy your own Vinted listings into eBay's sell form. This policy explains what data the extension handles. The short version: your data stays in your browser.
What CrossLite processes
When you click "⇄ Copy to eBay" on one of your Vinted item pages, CrossLite reads the listing details visible on that page:
- listing title and description
- price and currency
- brand, size, condition, colour
- the web addresses (URLs) of the listing's photos
- the listing page URL and the time you copied it
CrossLite also keeps a simple usage counter (how many listings you have copied in the current month) to enforce the free plan's monthly limit, and a flag recording whether you have a Pro subscription.
Where this data is stored
All of the above is stored locally on your device using Chrome's chrome.storage.local. It is not sent to us or to any third party. CrossLite has no backend server for your listing data. The queued listing is overwritten each time you copy a new one, and is deleted when you click "Done — clear queue" or remove the extension.
What CrossLite does NOT do
- No analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind.
- No collection of your name, email, Vinted or eBay account credentials, messages, or browsing history.
- No reading of pages other than the Vinted item pages and eBay sell pages where it runs, as declared in the extension's permissions.
- No selling, sharing, or transferring of user data to third parties.
- No use of data for advertising or creditworthiness purposes.
Payments and subscription status
Your listing data never leaves your browser. CrossLite makes only two kinds of network request, neither of which contains listing data, browsing data, or personal information:
- a license-key check with Gumroad (our payment provider): if you have activated Pro, the extension sends your license key to Gumroad's License API to confirm the subscription is active. Only the license key and the product id are sent; and
- a currency-rate lookup to the public frankfurter.dev service (ECB reference rates) when your Vinted listing's currency differs from the eBay site's — the request contains only the two currency codes.
If you upgrade to CrossLite Pro, the purchase is handled entirely by Gumroad (the merchant of record). Your payment details are collected and processed by Gumroad — CrossLite never sees or stores them; the extension only ever handles the license key you choose to enter. See the Gumroad Privacy Policy for details.
Permissions, in plain language
- Vinted sites: to show the "Copy to eBay" button and read the listing you choose to copy.
- Vinted CDN (vinted.net): to display your listing photos so you can add them to eBay.
- eBay sell pages: to show the side panel and fill the sell form for you.
- Storage: to keep the queued listing and the monthly usage counter on your device.
CrossLite never publishes, clicks, or posts on your behalf — you always review and submit listings yourself.
Your choices and data removal
- Click "Done — clear queue" to delete the queued listing.
- Uninstall the extension to delete all stored data immediately.
Children
CrossLite is not directed at children under 16 and does not knowingly process their data.
Changes to this policy
If the way CrossLite handles data ever changes (for example, new features that require a server), this policy will be updated and the effective date revised before the change ships.
